My wife and I usually stay at the Hampton Inn at Broadway at the beach. You can go from club to club and then walk to your room. It's right next to Margaretteville.

I'm in Jacksonville and have stayed at the Hampton Inn, it is nice. Agree about Broadway at the Beach but would put in a plug to eat at Amici's Brick Oven Pizza joint there. Wife loves it and is good italian.

I would also go to Brookgreen garden in south myrtle. Beautiful to walk around and relaxing. One of the biggest sculpture gardens in the country.

Also House of Blues at Barefoot Landing may have something go on concert wise. Great place, have seen a few concerts there.

Most of the pizza places have a large menu and deliver 24 hours or atleast 4 AM or something so room service might not be that important

If you happen to go to Fat Tuesday's definitely hit up a 190 Octane (I hope you like Everclear). While you're at Broadway, you might also want to check out Liberty steakhouse. Don't know how their steaks are, but they have their own mini brewery inside.

Hah, think I've had 190 Octane before... when I was in Vegas last year. Good stuff!

I would check on the restaurants at Broadway at the Beach right now. I heard several of them have closed due to the economy. I haven't been down there since last summer. I live in S.C. and the economy has hit us pretty hard down here. I would definitely call around first.

Its been awhile since I was there, but I would recommend posting to the Carolinas forum. They are quick to reply and usually will be happy to have any excuse for an impromptu meet!

Ummm...O.K. I was thinking I was on the UMW forum. Nevermind.

Okay, maybe I should go to bed now.

I had to do a double take to make sure I did post this in the right forum.
