Quick little bump.


It's been known that I'm a huge procrastinator, except when it comes to selling car parts.


The trip has been changed to Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12th.

We're leaving in two days and I've still yet to book any hotel. Been doing a bit more searching through the list and not certain where we'd like to stay.

New requirement is something on the beach. We're really looking for something that we can walk out the back of the hotel and step on to sand! We'd "LIKE" based off everyone's recommendation to be close to Broadway at the Beach too...


any new recommendations?

 

Chad... there are so many but even though Springmaid isn't one of the ritziest hotels on the strand it does have probably the best and least crowded bit of beach property. AND the least traffic on the Blvd.

 

lol for this. Honestly, I haven't been in over a year. How much time are you really going to be spending in the hotel compared to the beach/strip?

 

Hey Mulder, long time no see/chat; how you been?

Girlfriend and I have been doing a bit of talking today about the trip... and rightfully so since it's two days away.

It really looks like we're going to end up at the Holiday Inn Express at Broadway at the Beach. Apparently it's adjacent to Broadway at the Beach.

The joys of having an indecisive girlfriend... none of our original requirements were fulfilled! lol
All she cares about now is :
being close to bars so we can stumble back... check
place to get a tan... check

Doesn't matter to me, it's a cheap decent hotel!

 

I'm heading down tomm, staying till sunday.

we are staying in the holiday sands, right on the beach, not far from the bar :thumbsup:

 

I'm heading to Vegas this weekend instead of MB
