Default tuner for AEM

after spending $400 on a tune that i am more than displeased with, i am in search of another tuner that will tune to my needs. i am in columbia, but can drive anywhere in about a 4 hour radius. AEM 1052 with just I/E. anyone have any ideas/names? would i be better going to ATL?

something is better than anything!

I think there are some people in Charleston and Myrtle Beach that tune the AEM unit. I may be wrong though.

Good tuners seem to be hard to find. Some can tune certain cars and systems fine but not all of them good. I had my car tuned by p1 auto a few years ago and it worked out fine. My car still runs today with no major problems.

For my new setup I plan on taking it up to Inlinepro, so there's no excuses or problems as to why I shouldn't get the power I want with the car.

Keep us updated on how your tuner works out for you.

i will let you all know for sure when i get it done. is there anyone that is more "capable" with a NA motor rather than the typical turbo tuner? i may have little tuning experience, but even i know that there is a HUGE difference tuning them!

o, and i might have a issue with the knock sensor...showing 1V knock when i get into vtec with only 2degrees advance...need someone that can trouble shoot that too as well as tune it...anything?

Some of the best guys I know with the AEM EMS are out of Charlotte. Undergroundracing. Visit undergroundracing.com for their contact info. They do specialize in big turbo stuff; heavy duty Vipers and Supras, but knowing what they can do, you might be alright. You will need to speak with Kevin Howeth and he'll let you know if they can tune it.
