Unbeleivable...no School....im Dissapointed
i STIL REmember in New Jersey we can get like 5 inches and our asses are still in school....one inch here and everything shuts down....y couldnt we have this privledge back home when i needed it..lol

I used to laugh about that too. But when you dig into it, it makes sense.
- The school buses (and bus drivers) here aren't as well equipped for snow and exreme cold as they are up north.
- Lots of schoolkids don't have appropriate clothes etc for extreme cold.
Now add those two together, and you've got a school district that doesn't want the liability of kids getting frostbite or worse waiting at the corner for a bus that never gets there.
They can't just hold school for the students that don't have to ride the bus, so they shut it down district wide.
So enjoy the day off!
