Default Walking when it's cold outside

Patty this question does not apply to you.

For those Vintage pals who experience winter, how many of you go for a walk when it's below freezing temps?

I've got some time to do so, but generally find excuses to not even try for a 1/2 hour walk. I really, really don't care for the cold temps. Right now I've got a few extra valid excuses as the sidewalks are a mess with melting snow, and sand and I really don't want to walk in the street.

However, a park which is a 10 minute ride away has a path that may be cleared. I may venture there today. I can't seem to force myself onto the treadmill.

So who is going for a walk today? No sun and temps below freezing.....

The wind stops me from walking more than the temperature.
I can handle down near zero if there is no wind and it is sunny.
40 degrees and windy will keep me indoors.

While walking has been limited in the cold for me lately, we normally walk every day no matter how cold. We have a dog that is runner so goes out on leash with one of us. Since I'm supposed to be walking every day if not outside go visit large box stores or mall.

Twice a day; sometimes three. Just dress for it. Windy days are the worst but otherwise it can be rewarding. True, I don't run into many others doing it.

I keep telling myself at 11:00 AM I'm going.....we'll see.

I could have to take a drive somewhere. I washed the glass of a light fixture in the kitchen (by hand) and some of the finish on the glass peeled off.

The fixture is only three years old (when we did the kitchen) and matches another fixture. May have to find some replacement glass.

My normal trec and walking distance is 3 miles. When the weather is bad, I get very inconsistent. I can dress properly, but I just don't seem to enjoy it as much nor do I feel compelled to do so.
