This sounds like a misunderstanding being handled the wrong way. I hate to butt my nose in on it, but I think it's sad that the first course of action was to start some sort of protest thread rather than calling Tim to work it out...

Now, there's people not only questioning Tim, but also the product. Why? Did anyone ask for opinions on the product? I'm certain that you could find plenty of opinions on it if you do a little search. I'm pretty sure most buyers would check out those opinions before purchasing the equipment. So what is the point here? Kick a guy while he's down...?

Sorry, I just think it's getting a little out of hand. I think a simple phone call would solve this whole issue and it'd be a moot point. I'm pretty sure that Tim wouldn't let his reputation get ruined over $5.00 or $10.00... come on guys, this is a petty issue!

FWIW, I had a great experience with Tim. He upgraded shipping for me when I wanted this thing yesterday (my own fault for ordering last minute) and wouldn't let me pay him extra for it. The product works great for my needs and I'd definitely do business with Tim again.

As far as the 'steadyness' of the mount it is my personal impression that any mount that screws onto the secrect compartment cover generates too much vibration (visible on the video) under certain conditions (like at the track).

It is not the mount, it is the secrect compartment cover. It is thin plastic and it does not latch 'super tight' so between the flex of the plastic (due to camera weight) and it not latching tightly .... nuff said.

If you want no vibration at all you should go for the 'conecam' universal mount. You have to be imaginative on the mounting but there are no wholes to drill and there is no visible vibration on the footage.

I didnt have a pic of the butterfly screw so I didnt add it in ...

I decided to end all of my Mount auctions and revised the item with a new set price, no G/B's will be hosted here on s2ki as I dont make but a few Dollars on this item and its not worth my HIGH sponsor fees well over $100.00 per month vs. my 0.02 fees to list them on ebay for 30 days in my ebay store .... a new price will be established and will be a set price for the future ... thank you

I am posting in this group because I get absolutely no response when I either try calling you or emailing you.

I have had FEDEX attempt several times to return the camera mount and here is the response I have received the customer not available or business closed.

Fedex is trying again today.

funny thing it came in yesterday? During the weekend my business was closed why ? hmmm.....

its in this thread

http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=201867

OMG I took a vacation!!!!! someone please shut my business down this guy tim shouldn't be taking a freaking vacation!!! OMG hes going to take ur cash and run for $59.00 !!! j/k

Sorry dude But I did tell you that I was going to refund the cash and like any business man I am going to refund it as I made a special exception to do this, I got the item in Yesterday ... my voice mail was full due to high volume in phone calls, I didnt take a vacation at my shop that would be pointless, there is no beach there .. well unless the toilet counts ... not sure why you are the only one that has had a problem with me? I simply offered a refund on a item you were not happy with ... then you post a thread here ... slander because I took a vacation over $59..0? I guess you can't make everyone happy a refund minus shipping charges will be issued by 12 noon tomorrow (thats Thursday the 6th)

Hope this clears up things ONCE again

This has gone completely out of proportion Dean, Tim has never been open on the weekend and as far as I know never will be, 99.8 of his orders have no problems so take it for what you will, posting is not going to change his reputation on this site as over 200 people will vouch for him. Not trying to start a pissing contest here but you seem to be expecting too much.

Guys,

I have been polite and have NEVER received a response in email. You saw my Fedex response. I am just trying to get clarification on why they can't deliver my package.
