I didn't know they broke Novice out into its own run group for florence. Strange -- normally, if you run BS-Novice, you take your runs with the BS group.

 

Well, I wouldn't expect them to do it again because I think that several people were complaining about cones and being DNF'd unexpectedly that day. That's obviously the downside to having all novices in a group... they all work in a group!

 

I didn't think about that!

 

I'm going to try to make it to the autocross too... I'd really like to meet a few people and see a few other s2k's. I haven't actually seen in person a non-stock S, so I'd love to see a few to help me decide on some mods.

 

i just got back into town and you guys will be happy to know ive gotten fat and that i havent driven anything under 6,000 pounds in the last two weeks. my wrx felt like i was in a go kart today

usace, you definitely ought to come out! If you're feeling frisky, come early and bring $25! I think that once you see how fun it looks you'll be wishing you had entered!

Oh, trust me... I just bought $600 worth of tires for this autocross... it WILL rain!

Actually, I think it's going to be ok. Definitely less chance of rain than the last autocross. It'll probably be the typical 95 degree sunny day where driving with the top down on the interstate feels like you're taking a ride through your clothes dryer!

Anyway, glad to hear you've gained weight and can't drive anymore Brian! I'll do my best to take advantage of that! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

It was nice to meet you last Sunday at the Charlottesville meet. We had a great time and a really nice drive. Hope things go well for your autoX this weekend. Try to keep S.C.H. out of trouble if you can. Maybe he can give you guys an extra handicap by running his top up and down while dogging them cones.
