Ok, this is about as off-topic as I can get here at S2ki.com, but can anyone recommend a good sheet-metal shop or know anyone that works in a local sheet metal shop?
Weird ehh....
Well here's the deal, I'm trying to construct a nice innovative office desk for the new home. I would like for the desk to have a nice brushed aluminum top or stainless steel with one of the ends rolled. Unfortunatly, I have zero big metal pieces laying around the house.
I stopped by a shop this afternoon and asked if it would be possible to have a piece cut and rolled and explained the reason. I might as well have been speaking Swahili, either that or smoking crack for the blank looks I got as a response
Any recommendations or alternatives would be extremely appreciated.

I don't know if you have found a place yet, but you should try Reaves Sheet Metal, Downtown across the street from the stadium, they have done some work for me, if that doesn't work or you have already tried them, I know of a few others....just let me know!
