Used car prices are through the freakin roof right now, its ridiculous! People getting 8-10k easy for daily driver sedans with well over 100k on them. And they are actually selling at these prices!

Five years ago, a nice 10 year old Civic (97-98) was going for 4-5k. Now, a nice 10 year old civic (01-02) is going for 7-8k. Just speaking from what I saw when I bought my last civic compared to what I am seeing now looking for a replacement DD. Its impossible to find a nice 04-05 for less than 10k. Its an eight year old base model car!!!

If the car wasn't imported into the US, the color isn't worth anything extra. In fact, even if it was a clean titled vehicle, it'd still be worth less than a factory paint, because it would denote a respray. Whether or not anything was wrong, folks associate a respray with trying to hide something.

FWIW, I had the first Moonrock respray (originally Sebring) outside of California.
