be prepared to spend some quality/quantity time with your car...
here's a little photo journal of my adventure:
cutting off the old top was FUN
seats out...time to vacuum
the extra space comes in VERY handy
and for me it was necessary. if you're small, maybe not
definitely get one of the magnetic bowls for all your nuts and bolts
getting the new top on
roughly 14 months later
have fun! and no i'm not doing your top for free

I'll defer to SC_highlander, but I thought that the AP1 an AP2 has some differences in the top frame, requiring mods to the AP1 frame?
