Default Will AEM EMS pass NC inspection?

I'm considering getting another S2K and turboing it, but I'm hesitant due to emissions testing. Will an AEM EMS pass NC (specifically wake county) inspection?

No. All S2000's must pass the OBD2 plug-in test. AEM ECU does not support OBD2.

If you don't have a S2000 yet, consider this.
00-05 models - Kpro ($2000) or piggyback unit (Emanage, Evan's Haltech unit - when released)
06+ models - Flashpro ($700)

Just my two cents but I use the piggy back system EManage and just passed an emissions test with NC. Thought about going AEM EMS but didn't feel like doing the extra work everytime to pass emissions.

In a safety only county it will pass(Duplin for example). But in wake county, no it won't. A piggyback will pass, if done right.

NC has a not ready code! You have to show you have spent over 300 dollors to try and fix the problem, I just have my boy make me a receipt from his shop, saying i spend over 300 hun trying to fic the problem! when the aem ems is in the car and they plug up to your obd2 port, it loads half way and then just freezes up! They think it is a bad connection in the cars computer!! So they give you a not ready code and its good for one full year like an inspection! it coast nothing to get one and yyou can do it over and over again every year!!
