Wrecked S2k
Just curious if you were a member here......
I purchased a tripod today, and decided to go a take a few pics off of River Road(known for deadly high speed accidents, and racing) at the park......
Well, on my way to the park, i noticed what looked to be the cover off of the intake box , and pieces of the headlights off of a s2k.....they were near the curve closest to independence blvd next to a guard rail.....
Went on to the park and took a few pics. On the way back i stopped to see if they were from a s2k, and they were.....
I just wanted to say that i hope you are O.K.
a couple pics.....
from the back of my neighborhood still under development.....

and from the park.....

I happened upon a totaled s2k last week at a garage. Berlina. Couldn't tell what year. She was torn up real bad with bent A pilars and scuffed roll hoops. Looked like she landed on her nose so it could've been the same one.
I read about this accident on another site.

It looks like the driver and passenger are ok, but the S is gone.

Importroadster says he got an airbag burn on his left arm??? I'm just curious how that bag deployed? I'm glad the driver and passenger weren't seriously hurt...but the car staying together at 80 mph is amazing.
