Maybe some sort of clear coat? I'm sure there is something that people use after they polish out something to keep the shine, so they don't have to keep polishing.

I used the Macquire's kit on my wife's civic and it did a great job. But six months later the haze is back.

What should you coat it with after you do the resurface?
Once you polish them, you need a UV protectant to keep them from hazing.

Any recommendations for brand type of UV protectant?

Yes we do need to get up and polish out those headlights. <- WOW for some reason that just doesn't sound right.

... and fix the motor!
Haha yea...

As for the headlights, I think you can use a polish or glaze to help with UV protection. Yes, the 20$ kits work. There's 3m that comes with the polishing pads and Meguiar's kit. I would choose 3m > Meguiar's just for the fact that I know it will get rock chips off the headlights. 3m comes with polishing pads while Meguiar's comes primarily with PlastX and a buffer pad.

As for UV protection get 3M film, Zaino, or Plastx. That should protect them pretty good. If your like me you probably already do it anyways but IDK.

Our local Advanced Auto just started carrying them. They put up a display with a dingy headlight, and a "polished" headlight right on the counter.
