It's a lot better if you are all on the same network. I've played with 4 people (at their own house) on RR and had zero problems. We had 3 on RR once and another on Adelphia cable and had games drop a few times but work great other times. I ran some network diag programs here and I didn't see very much bandwidth being used, so I don't trust that 128 requirement at all. I think latency is the main killer here, not bandwidth usage.

Should we do a room to room xbox hookup in the hotel at Outer Banks ? I have a 50ft cable too and an extra hub. We just might need one of those adapters to hook the xbox to TVs that only have a coax connector.

Yeah, latency is most likely the problem. In some reading I did looks like Halo really on needs around 50k / player. I played against a guy in TX and it worked well, but forgot to check the hops.

FD: I'm slammed right now, but maybe later in the week.
