'04 Berlina Black 11.5k miles. 1 Owner.
As much as I love my S2000, I've decided to sell it so that I can afford to buy a hardtop sports car (Lotus Exige / Cayman S / Z4 M Coupe).
I am the original owner of this car. I'm a 35 yr. old attorney. Bought the car new in March, 2004. Car has had only two trips back to the dealer -- both for oil changes. Most recent oil change switched to synthetic at 10k miles. All records and receipts.
I am asking Edmunds Private Party Value. The car is immaculate. No dings, no dents, no blemishes. Never machine polished. No swirl marks, etc.
This car was never a daily driver .. just used on nice days for fun drives on the country roads. No track time either (never got around to it).
Here are some photos. This is a car without any issues.
Will sell for $25,362. That is the value according to Edmunds. The car is "Outstanding" in every way.
Still has warranty until 3/06.

To all potential buyers, make the seller take $500 off the price for the Ferrari stickers on a Honda.

Maybe you need a Ferrari? Not a Lotus.

If I had gone to California, I'd have tight $$ issues. But I'm still in Maryland with the S2000.
I'm in no hurry to sell....and won't dip below the private party value as listed by Edmunds for an exceptionally clean (ie. perfect) car.
Saving myself $25k in tuition + $15k in living expenses + keeping my salary = being able to treat myself to something totally wasteful --> an even more expensive sports car. I might even pony up for a 911. I'll have kids in a year or two and I think the rear jump seats might prove useful. As you can see from the photos -- I've visited my local Porsche dealer already.
