In May of 2018 I had a lot of work done to the car. One of the things was a new Clutch Masters fx300 installed In Floridia. At Thanksgiving it would not go into any gear after starting up. When turned off all gears are accessible. I took it to a garage and they added transmission fluid. The same issues started immediately. The garage told me that I need a new transmission. It may be synchronization gear but that's only a guess. But if it even was that, I cannot have it fixed as my financial situation has changed. It also needs 2 rear Axel's that I was saving to get done at the beginning of spring. It also needs small body work for a few dings, 2 rust spots. This car was originally a Michigan car and I bought it in Floridia in 2009. I moved to MD in 2010/2011. You will need to replace rusty suspension parts as this is a northern car. The front nose needs repainting. The previous owner or the car dealership repainted the front nose poorly. I had the car checked out and there is no crash or accident damage, just a poor repaint job.

The good..

Along with the new transmission I also replaced the shocks with Buddy club coilovers. I had polyurethane bushings installed and all fluids were replaced. (I also replaced all fluids and belts at a hundred and ten thousand miles). New ignition in 2017 (but no key remote). I replace my catalytic converter with a Berk high-flow cat about a month-and-a-half ago. New K&N intake filter this summer. I have kept the air box and slightly modified it on the inside only! Radio CD replaced with a USB, blue tooth radio with a well hidden mic for my phone. Top was replaced about 5 years ago. It looks like it could easy last another 5 years. There are no engine mods. I do have a lot of receipts of replaced small stuff thru the years, but I changed the oil myself. So I never kept thoes receipts. I was diligent on wash and waxing so the water beads when raining. As long as I have owned the car I never put it on a track or have done any time trials.

This is a hard decision as this car was my daily driver. I have lots of memories with this car. But that is not why I set the price firm. The 03 cars are unique as they have the glass window but also has the high rev engine. This car has a lot of potential even with the 3 main things that need to be fixed. Transmission, the 2 axels and the paint and body work. Get this fixed and you will have a excellent running car.
