Default 2004 S2000 55K Mi Atlanta, GA (sold)

Pictures: http://mywebsale.com/s2k
Pricing dropped to $17,500 from $18,500.

It looks like I'm finally going to part with my baby. I know I’m going to regret it after it’s gone which is why I’ve listed and almost sold it a few times……….but never had the heart to close the deal. I think I have finally reached the point in life where I am ready.

What I have for sale:
*2004 S2000, Silverstone Gray with black interior
*Under 55,000 miles
*Original owner, bought from Orlando, Fl dealer new
*Manuals
*Oil changes done regularly, diff fluid changes, new brakes
*Yokohama AD-08 tires with tread left
*No accidents
*Title in hand
*No mods, completely original with only an Alpine CD player and ipod connector replaced.

Why am I selling?
I’ve had a really hard time selling the car. It really doesn’t make sense keeping the car knowing I’m not driving it as much as I should. I drive it to work occasionally to keep the battery charged but it’s just not getting driven regularly due to using my 4 door for my son. It’s sitting in the garage and has always been garage kept. I have almost always had a daily driver, which is why it doesn’t have a lot of mileage. I now have a 2 ½ year old so my 4-seater gets driven during the week and the weekends now and I really don’t have the opportunity to drive it enough anymore with any frequency.

Mechanical Condition:
Mechanically perfect and the car is in wonderful shape as you can tell.

A little about who you’re buying from:
I’m one of those obsessive owners, been a car enthusiast before I could spell. I wash the inside of the wheels when I wash the car, which was often when I drove it more. I drive gently until the car is up to operating temperature and never drive it under 5 miles before shutting the car off. I broke the car in gently per Honda’s recommendation.

Repair history:
Wow, this car has been reliable. Mechanically, only 1 left front strut replaced about two years ago and two new batteries, due to not driving it enough. The car has always been serviced at Honda dealers or a Honda/Acura specialist. This is one of the last Japan made Honda’s these days, it will probably make it to 250,000 miles with no sweat. Regarding tires, I got about 25,000 miles on my OEM set of tires. A near record I’m sure. I lived in Florida with straight roads then. Yes, it was boring. The AD-08s are not in immediate need of replacing, they have between 5/32 and 6/32 left. They stick really well and actually wear (or don't wear) better than I expected.

Service History:
I replaced the convertible top in March of 2012 due to a small hole. They aren’t cheap at over a $1,100 so I had the repair shop put some extra material where the bars roll on the top (which is what created the hole in the first place). I wouldn’t expect a new one being needed even with regular use for 5+ years. I also replaced the foam bottom on the driver’s side seat so it sits like a new seat.

Mechanically, I’ve done the fluids (oil, differential, brake) based on schedule or better because I feel it’s better to spend money on preventative maintenance than repair (plus it just feels better to know you’re taking care of something that you really enjoy). Oil was changed 3-5,000 its entire life. I’ve switched to Amsoil Signature Series 10/30 as of a couple years ago. (I’ve also switched to Amsoil for the differential.) I’ve had it tested by Blackstone Labs and the engine is wearing perfectly. No issues. A couple of years ago, I also had the front brakes replaced with OEM pads. At that time, the rear brakes were only 15% worn!

What’s wrong with the car cosmetically?

The front has the usual chips (but Silverstone hides a LOT, great color. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat). When I had my rear tires replaced at 25,000 or so miles, the stupid tire store scuffed my rims. It’s not terrible but I’m obsessive. I have just 1 small ding on the left rear wheel arch. Nothing else. I’m disclosing everything I know about or can recall. I’ve bought sports cars used in the past and believe in being 100% honest about what you’re getting.

Price is firm at $18,500. I don’t need to sell it but it really needs someone to appreciate and drive it more regularly. Hoping that someone will enjoy it like I have and treat it well.

Email me if you're seriously interested and ready to buy and have additional questions or want to move forward. Car is located in North Georgia. Will not ship or accept lower offers or accept trades

Thanks for your interest……

Still for sale, I'll accept $17,900 which is below KBB. Lots of cars out there with accidents and questionable backgrounds, not many with NO ACCIDENTS that you can buy from the original owner and left in original condition down to an OEM top and OEM wheels.

this car is immaculate. I don't think I've seen a cleaner interior and exterior on a 50k+ mile car

PM replied, holding out for $17,900. A sincere thanks for the offer. Its just in too good of shape and cared for to let it go for that amount at this point. Of course PM me if you can raise your offer.

No problem, keep me posted. I'm looking at vehicles everyday for the past week, so I'm looking to buy fast!

Yes s2k_CAL, a couple of people closer to making a decision on it but nothing firm yet. I'll PM you to see when you can see it.
