For sale is an 2nd owner extremely rare 1/34 North American made original Imola Orange S2000. These were only offered in 2007 to the Canadian market. Rumor has it that there were only 34 made for North America.
Vehicle History:
My girlfriend and I are huge Honda S2000 fans, after we built my s2000 she decided to buy a stock Imola Orange s2000 to add to our collection. We searched for about 2 years and not a single Imola Orange S2000 popped up for sale in Canada. One morning in March of this year (2014) I got an email from a Canadian AutoTrader stating that an 07 Orange s2000 was listed for sale in Vancouver Island, British Columbia on Canada’s West Coast. I called the owner right away and it turns out that it was a lady in her 50’s that owned it. She said she purchased it brand new from the Honda Dealership in her town back in 2007, she said it has never been in an accident or been painted, all original paint. She was selling the car because she could not drive manual anymore due to muscle problems. I told her I would take it over the phone and said I would call her the next day with all my info. The next day I called her and she told me she traded it into the same Honda Dealership that sold her the car new, they gave her a good deal on a brand new automatic Civic so she could not resist. I then instantly called the Honda dealership asking about her s2000 that they got on trade the day before. Dealing with a very knowledgeable general manager about the rarity of the color definitely made it an expensive s2000 purchase. We decided to pull the trigger and not to let it go again. When we purchased it had 42,000 Miles (or 69,000 KM) We then drove it from Vancouver to Winnipeg.
The only parts that we added to the car was a brand new OEM ap2 font lip that was ordered from Honda in the original imola orange color and jdm clear side markers with amber bulbs. All Vin panel stickers are matching including both front and rear bumpers. This paint has the most pearl and metallic that I’ve seen out of a stock Honda color; pictures do not do it justice. Some of the plastic panels (ie. Handles, bumpers, mirrors) do show a minor darker shade of orange then the metal panels but talking to other imola orange owners this was a common problem with this color. Paint is in very good shape, few minor stone chips on the hood and bumper. Top and interior are in great shape too.
Sadly we decided to sell it in order to purchase our first house. It was a hard decision to either sell her Imola s2000 or my s2000 that we put a lot of work into. It would too hard to let go of mine so hers is going up for sale.
We are located in Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada.
I can help with the import process or meet the new owner at the Canadian/US border.
Lim sure lots of S2000 owners on here can vouch for me, my Instagram is: @stevenz11
