Find yourselve some plastic "polish". Maguiar's makes a good one. Can't remember the exact number (something like #17). Go over it really well. Might have to do it 2-3 times. Mask off the black roof material that is at the bottom edge for the next step. Shine it up with Plexus.
Now do same for the interior. You'll have to be a bit of a contortionist but it can be done.
Once it's all shined up like new (and there is no reason why it can't be brought back to new using the steps above), put in some kind of roof well mat made of a soft material like felt or velour - double side tape it along the edges to the roof well. This will protect the inside.
Now that the outside is good, install a static cling tint on the outside. This will protect that from scratching, UV degradation and minimize the creasing as well. About once a year (maybe more often if you drive at high speed), you will need to replace the tint. After the first installation keep the template you made for all subsequent tints to make for an easier and quicker job.
