You're in the right place if you're looking for a great S2K. This S2000 is Spa Yellow, has low mileage, is stock, and was garaged and well cared for. The car has always been driven by mature adults (not racers that'd beat up on it), has under 69,000 miles on it, is not modded, has never been in an accident, and has a clean title (in hand). This car has always been garaged and kept up to date on service and preventative maintenance. The only reason I'm selling is that I needed a car with more room now that we have a dog and go on more road trips, and I can't justify having two cars. I'd like for it to find a new owner that'll care for it like I and the other previous owners have.
The best place for me to meet up with you would be at the Crossroads movie theater in Cary, as it's usually a bit less crowded than most places.
There's been no mod hacking of suspension, engine, exhaust or body. Anything done is a well thought-out upgrade and reversible.
Wheels: They were upgraded to 17" Enkei RPF1 by the previous owner, worth ~$900, and are definitely great on this car (the S2K AP2 switched to 17" the next year, as Honda wanted to fix the stance and tendency to fishtail dangerously when driven in rain or by inexperienced drivers).
Upgraded radio: The stock radio and speakers are known to be junky sounding and come from Honda Civic parts bins. You can't hear the stock radio with the top down and you probably wouldn't want to anyway. The upgraded professionally installed Radio w/USB, speakers, & amp are an awesome and enjoyable upgrade. Easily worth $1000.
Top: Replaced within the last 4-5 yrs by previous owner, still in great shape, and it has the mod where you can put the E-brake up just a hair and open/close while moving slowly (i.e. if it starts raining and you're coasting to a stop light, or you're going slow through a parking lot and want to start putting it up/down). Big convenience!
Brake Calipers: Painted Red, just a great looking change.
Shifter: Cut shorter so it's a shorter throw and more comfortable - you can almost shift with your pinky! It's the best I've ever tried.
