I am the 2nd owner and am 58 y/o the 1st owner was probably as old as I was when he purchased the car. I would say it is in excellent condition with some paint dings here and there but really nothing else needed.
These are the mods the original owner made to the car:
2004 Engine and Tranny from the great train crash of 2004 acquired by HardTop guy. It has approximately 16,000 to 17,000 miles on it while the car has a bit over 40,000 miles and I’ve put a little over 4000 miles on the car since I purchased in 2012.
Stored in winters in my heated garage on wheel dollies.
The rear great set was changed to 4.77 (I had KingMotorsports change it back to stock last year but will include the 4.77 gears with the car).
Comptech lightened flywheel.
ACT pressure plate.
Soft top original and in great condition.
Seats are nearly new looking with some minor wear marks.
Sony speakers.
Rick’s Stainless steel header.
AP2 front bumper and clear bra. (I installed AP2 lip that was scratched by King Motorsports when changing the gear set back to stock).
AP2 console.
Rear window Muzz matt.
AP2 tail pipes (I changed the exhaust last year to T1R Sparrow installed my King Motorsports).
Padded leather headrest inserts.
Yellow box speedo calibration (reprogrammed to account for stock rear gear set almost dead nuts)
JDM headlights and background have been painted body color.
Side turn light signal markers changed to clears.
X brace has been installed in the front suspension to add extra front end strength.
Red highlights added via Rick’s badges, red calipers, red window spray tips.
Rear windscreen air deflector was changed to larger than stock to reduce back draft.
What I have changed:
17x7 and 17x9 Enkei Racing PF01 Bright Silver installed in 2012 with conti ExtremeContact tires
Centric plain 120 rotors front and rear
AKEBONO PRO-ACT CERAMIC PADS front and rear
Axialfow short shifter installed last year.
Tranny fluid, rear end and engine oil changed before storage last year.
