I don't know what it would take to be road legal over seas, but from the research I have done here in PA, it needs to be inspected by an enhanced inspection station, and then when it passes that, the state can change the title from salvage to rebuilt, and it can be registered again. From what I've been told, they're basically looking to see if it's safe, and if there are stolen parts on it, which there isn't.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you were the owner before the salvage/total loss wouldn't the insurance company have taken the vehicle from you after this incident?
