Default Who wants to sell their non-Yellow S2K? Wife says I have $18k, no more.

Hello,

I'm new to these boards, however I'm a huge fan of the S2K. I've test driven a few of them and it looks like I now have a buyer for my VW GTI 337 Edition. I will now start my quest to either find a great deal on an S2K or find a very nice Miata.

Please understand, I'm on a budget. I really want to find a nice top down roadster and these are my two choices. I'm a little leary about a used Z3, just because of reliability issues. If you have something great, but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Anyway, I live in North Carolina. And like I said before, sorry no yellow. I don't want a cop magnet.

Thanks for any replies, and please include contact info. Or you can email me at work at: adam@shapirowalker.com

See you in the twisties -Adam.

Your wife says you have $18k?

I suggest you...

1. Figure out on your own how much YOU have

2. Tell your wife its your money and you will sell the house for the car if you want

3. Realize that not many people are selling their S2k's under $20k

4. Sell your wife's car and buy her an 86 camry

Just joking with you, I enjoyed the title of your post, good luck

Over the past couple of months I have looked at no less than 40 cars. If $18k is all that u have you will have to buy a salvaged title, or a car with about 60k miles on it.

I would suggest that if you want a nice car, and there are plenty of them out there. Save up some more money and be prepared to wait for the right deal. Also be prepared to jump on the deal when it presents itself.

Most of the S2000 owners are fanatical about there cars and keep them in perfect condition.

Good luck!

BTW, I flew and drove home 3200 miles to get a good deal on an S. New York to San Diego. I really really love my car.

Don't you know?? There is a difference in how much a wife says you can spend and how much a wife lets you spend. Not married are we? Stay that way, there is no superchargers in my future unfortunatly.
LOL
