MOM ! that is awesome , it is so good to hear that they liked it. I am always worried when I recommend things to others as they may see it differently than I. The learning curve is a bit steep but once you understand it , it is like riding a bike.
I see a lot of people doing steaks in there on cast iron pans and all sorts of things, it can be very versatile, but I just do pizzas for now. We love it, and my wife says there is no pizza place in town that compares to our home made pizzas. They are so unique when cooked properly.
You made me happy to hear this , lol. Keep up the good work. Making pizzas with the family can be fun, a bit messy but always fun, and the end product can't be beat !
To be perfectly honest I would love some of the higher end ovens out there like the ones you first saw, they are bigger and have more room to work with, but at the end of the day the end product is the exact same. I've seen many comparison videos and the pizzas all come out the same, but the price differences are big. The Roccbox value is hard to beat.
Would love to see pictures.
one of my latest creations this month.

Looks good Mom ! , it is making me hungry, lol. That oven is definitely broken in now.
I hope the pizzas turned out well and you guys enjoyed the results.
It looks like there was a bit too much flour on the bottom and it burned up a bit. You can take a stiff brush to clean up the stone after each use. Keep the toppings and sauce a bit back from the edges of the pizza so they don't spill over onto the stone, keep the sauce an inch or so from the pizza edge. Turn the pizza every so often as it cooks, pull out turn 90 degrees and slide back in to avoid any burn spots, the edge by the flame will cook faster (as you may know) , a bit of char is good though.
All the best, keep the pizzas rolling !

Thanks Gina, much appreciated, this is a tricky process selling a home and trying to buy a home all in the same short time frame, it is sooooooo stressful, open houses, short notice showings, clean, clean, clean, rush , rush , rush, and wait , wait , wait, lol. Hoping it all works out on time. Much appreciated, blessings.
