Yeah, I've been to all 45 LBGPs, all three days of all but a couple, when it rained.. This year will be 46. Here is a video of the first race, the 1975 Formula 5000 Demonstration Race:


Everything was so primitive back then. None of the new high rises existed back then, except for the round building.

I had a photo pass that year. I was working for a guy who published racing calendars. The collage of racing photos in our den are from that race. It was fun to get up close to the cars, but it was way too much work. I couldn't enjoy the race.
