I agree with Jimmy Doom. Release the ShaliKashismackdown and don't look back. 
's will either fall in line, or find a new home. I admit to laughing in a hearty fashion at some of the antics, but if it's against the rules, then it's against the rules. I don't want to see anyone get the boot, but unfortunately us non-mods can't moderate the others, and are therefore helpless beyond our own actions. It's gonna kinda feel like boot camp again to get reprimanded as a group for the actions of a few. But there is one other thing to consider. Should the Corner get locked down, there'll be a lot of homeless 's roaming the site until they can be gathered up and euthanized accordingly. That could be a hell of a headache for the mods... And, of course, this isn't a threat, just a consciencious observation.

The reality is that, if the Corner does ever get locked down (and that's by no means a given) that the mods in other forums will likely keep the displaced s on a short leash rather than letting a bunch of people rampantly the board...

I would expect nothing less from the mods, but instead of keeping an eye on a few in a seperate forum, they'll have to monitor the many across the board.
Do you know how difficult it's going to be just resisting the urge let loose in the "Street Encounters" forum? Hell, it already takes everything I have in me to not go there as it is... if I had no home, I might stray there...

Nah...they'll ban for ing. Like I said, however, shutting down the Corner is by NO MEANS a given. It is simply one of many options on the table for how to deal with the growing problem of runaway antagonistic behavior on the part of a subset of people associated with the Corner.

You know, this is a great place. It took me a while to get used to posting on here, and a while to get the sense of humour. I think some people don't recognise the valuie of The Corner, it would be great shame if / when it got shut down.
