omg I just go this pm

Re: Please Help: NOS system not working on S2000?
Okay with all good humor aside, I would like to at least help...
1. Remove the fogger and line from your VALVE COVER (this is the red thing on top of your engine) Reason: The chamber under your valve cover is reserved for oil and ventalation. Your intake air does not go in here. (yes the crank case vent does connect, but only to equalize pressure)
2. The large silver part on the driver's side of the engine that has FOUR tubes is your INTAKE MANIFOLD. Unless you have four foggers, leave the four individual tubes alone. However if you prefer, you may tap into the part of the intake manifold close to the THROTTLE BODY or "TB". (The throttle body is in front of the intake manifold and has four mounting bolts and a plastic electrical plug on top. It also has a wire cable on the side mounted to a goldish wheel. I would advise you to avoid molesting your TB.)
3. In front of your TB is the INTAKE TUBE. The stock intake tube is black rubber, aftermarket intake tubes are chrome, red, blue or any other color depending on the brand. This too, would be a safe place to install your Nitrous fogger.
4. And lastly before even starting your car, go to any auto parts store and buy a fitting rubber plug for the hole you drilled into your VALVE COVER. It may leak oil from time to time, but it is cheaper than removing the valve cover, paying a shop to fill the hole (welding) and re-powder coating.

Above all else, please take the part off the car before you drill any holes. When you drill little chunks and particles of METAL get into places they shouldnt and WILL eventually cause problems, especially if it is in your intake. Just as a precaution, I would remove your valve cover and have it fixed the right way which will allow you to search out and remove any metal chunks that may have fallen into your "cam case".
Good luck and before you do anything else, please PM someone or ask.
Tom
