but i didn't see any aero mods to accommodate the open-air intake...

he's gonna have some bad detonation if he doesnt vent that hood, whether it be via naca ducts out the side or bottom, or one of those nasty looking vented hoods (which more often than not dont vent anything at all)... also, i'd put a foam filter over the stacks in a heartbeat, especially with texas dirt

but who am i to complain?!? like wickster said, he has them, and i dont...

damn this camaro, it's been taking me over... my s2000 is getting jealous - time to refocus my funds on the s2000

yeah, I was a bit spooked about his running without filters. It won't take long to score his cylinder walls and maybe even f up his rings

I'm curois about the venting.... the stacks off center, and that should be a pretty low pressure area over the hood. I'd think it would just suck are out of the engine bay. that may or may not be a good thing, I'd rather have the cold air going in, instead of drawing hot air over the stacks Its almost like you have to have an airbox.... I wonder .....

that was my biggest question.....but after discussion...he would just have to change his oil filter ever so often because most of the Cali air would get burned up... I still think no air filters....and if he is driving off of the track would be bad for the motor..

I wonder if he would lose any hp if he filtered it...
