Apparently, my fence blowing over and falling tree limbs is nothing compared to what Brant & DSR have been going thru this past month or so.

I actually don't mind not being a god-parent. Not sure I need the stress. Besides, I'm "Uncle Brant" to some dear friends' two children and am the emergency contact should the parents not be reachable. Not even their god-parents have that sort of authority right now...

Apparently I do. When my friend's wife was in the hospital giving birth to their second child he stayed in the hospital with her for 4 days. I stayed at their house and babysat their first child for those 4 days.

THAT was enough to make me realize I don't want kids of my own...
