It's NetGear's proprietary (downside) 802.11g implementation... capable of 108 Mbps (as long as no .11b or .11g is connected) and seems to have very good range.

Ahhhh ok, I have heard of people bridging Airport Extremes, I guess this is kinda the same thing....whats the point for home use when your connection is at most limited to 10-15 mbs

Apparently, I've been having a PM discussion with James on the subject... In my house, I have more than one computer that I use the wireless for. As such, the higher speeds are really useful between these computers. E.g., I store pictures on the server in my basement. If I want to look at those pictures upstairs, I can utilize the faster wireless speed.

As far as internet connection goes, though, you're absolutely right, Mikey.
