Apparently I need to do a valve adjustment... can anyone atest to how hard the job is?

 

3 hour job.. I love doing valve jobs...... NOT!!

 

gotta let the engine cool down for a long time.. then have fun getting your hand on the intake side... oh yea.. and if you don't have the feeler gauge at the right angle you get a false sense of drag because of it being bent and not parallel to the top of the valve and bottom of the rocker arm.. enjoy!
