"A rare and wicked skill
to change the light or weather.
No room was spared
no mood showed her mercy."

I used to watch Deadliest Catch...and Dirty Jobs...and even American Chopper back when he was still the voice...

Heck, I even watch Ford commercials because of him...

I'm shopping Ti for it's long-term durability. Been riding for years and don't anticipate stopping anytime soon. I want a versatile bike that can do dirt and trails and streets and even some light touring/commuting if I choose. I've had some off-road experience with cyclocross bikes and I LOVE it. Ti will enable me to get a frame that will likely never die...and be a good trade-off between durability and weight.

I'm downgrading my motorcycle and car budgets to accommodate the acquisition...
I've looked at the Cyclocross bikes and they seem to be the best compromise for me... no suspension but otherwise good.

Precisely my thinking. I like Ti for material because it's got the plushness of steel with more durability...

I don't ride a whole lot of stuff that requires suspension anyway...
