What sucked me in was the 0% for one year
. Then I get a statement... 29.33% WTF!!!
Anyways, so it seems I should go with plan a) and pay off all my debt, yeah?

Also, the overhead on the S2000 is still relatively high, IMHO (I'm thinking tires, gas). Compare that to the TCO against a Fit, Civic, Yaris, Versa. . . However, compare it again against what you'd like by next year, within two years, then 5 years.
Within 5 years, you might think a used S5 would be a spicy meatball.

That'd be my advice.

But I agree.. TCO of the S2000 is very high, compared to the Element I (will) want to get.

Unkie, with my new job, I may be forced to take a week (or two) of holidays in mid-December. I'm planning a pretty significant trip for Spring 2011, so I can't break the bank, but I would like to go somewhere warmer than it will be here, but not an all inclusive. Any suggestions?
I'd also look at Floriduh, California Central Coast (slightly cheaper than Southern California proper), Sedona Arizona, and possibly the Texas or Southern Coasts (oil slick swimming optional).
Mexico is also pretty nice, and with the Euro down, you may find some bargains. I'm partial to Cabo/Baja myself, but I've been told Puerto Vallarta is also nice.
Unfortunately, Winter getaways really do lend themselves to all-inclusives. 3-4 day cruise could be tip-top.

My only thought in pursuing the sale of the S2000 would be that I could use the money I would be spending on the payments to severely pay-down my 29% c/c.

I think you just listed two upsides.

See this is what I'm getting at! Spend the ~$2400 to seriously pursue the sale of the S2000, and HOPE it sells:
Pro: free up ~$650/month in up-keep.
Con: it may not sell, any penalties for ending lease early if I pay it off?

Pay off all debt:
Pro: be debt free, minus the s2000 (which equates to about $180/month).
Con: still have the s2000 to worry about..

Don't have a lot of interest in Florida, but I hadn't thought of Cali's central coast or Arizona (why Sedona?). Texas is also an option as I'd have a free place to stay there as well. I'll probably skip Mexico as I'd prefer to go somewhere I haven't been before. (We did Nuevo Vallarta and it was exactly what I needed at the time.
Now that I know I'll still be living so close to a US airport (and therefore can get cheaper flights), the travel plans are quickly expanding!

Hey Unkie who do you think will win the World Cup this year?
Your Unkie Trunkie will have to consult the almighty Football Oracle, and get a definitive answer.
