Hey UnkieT, I thought you disapproved of taking a girl to coffee shops?
Banging her is on the by-and-by.
When you're looking to "close," you meet her at a bar.
True that, good call.
Hey UnkieT,
How would one go about identifying true slander and seeing if it's worth pursuing in the courts? I think I may have some qualifying stuff about me, but don't know much about law =/

1. slander = verbal, libel = written.
2. You have to prove that the claim is false, which will make private things public (consider the consquences).
3. You have to show a pretty definitive tort of defamation, and prove damages have occurred.
3a. The damage should probably by extensive/systemic before you think about calling a lawyer.

Well...
1. libel then, I have the documents
2. I can do that.. but again weighing options..
3. I guess I'd have to prove loss of business from the comments huh? Like recording or seeing a customer's response saying "well I heard xxx yyy about you from zzz" right?
3a. What would be constituted as a lot? I could be talking about multiple thousands of dollars...
