This is whats left of my Palapa Umbrella from the previous house. The table that it was stuck in broke and the pole is STUCK in the stand
we think maybe it due to being / getting wet swelled up but even though its now dry it WON'T budge 
heres my ? HOW can we get it OUT of the not cheap stand so I can replace it w/another umbrella ?
I've thought of 2.
sawing it off at the nub then Chiseling out the bottom part. 2. Burning it out 
help me UT won your my only hope
