I usually drink on a semi empty stomach, when I do drink at home I plan on getting drunk, because I don't drive anywhere. But I did just make a pasta/chicken tender sauce dish and ate it. But I drank a lot before hand. It's been hard for me to get "drunk/shitfaced." I have tried, and all I do is get tipsy. I haven't been "drunk" in a really long time, and it pisses me off really. Having a high tolerance is nice when out with friends and trying to get through the full night, but at the same time I wish I had a low one so I could drink 3 7% beers and just feel good the rest of the night. My problem is feeling this way, and keeping it. I have a high metabolism so if I stop drinking for an hour - hour 30, I would most likely lose all buzz feeling.
It's okay; everyone, including the mighty liver, needs a vacation.
