I usually drink on a semi empty stomach, when I do drink at home I plan on getting drunk, because I don't drive anywhere. But I did just make a pasta/chicken tender sauce dish and ate it. But I drank a lot before hand. It's been hard for me to get "drunk/shitfaced." I have tried, and all I do is get tipsy. I haven't been "drunk" in a really long time, and it pisses me off really. Having a high tolerance is nice when out with friends and trying to get through the full night, but at the same time I wish I had a low one so I could drink 3 7% beers and just feel good the rest of the night. My problem is feeling this way, and keeping it. I have a high metabolism so if I stop drinking for an hour - hour 30, I would most likely lose all buzz feeling.

 

I'm noting that I was running in to that as well....I was getting some good beer buzz's and warm nights but nothing to crazy, until, I discovered whipped cream vodka and orange soda (and cream soda). I finished off a 5th the other week and was loaded beyond all shit...I did it because I wanted to get rocked and it worked

 

Hmmm....whipped cream with orange soda....




Only problem is, ~16 for a good 5th to get drunk is expensive . But I guess spending that much on good beer is pretty much the same....I might have to start moving up in % if I want a night done

I did have Jaeger shots too. the 4 loko only finished me off but I was already good and done from the vodka :lush:

 

What brand? I usually settle for Svedka or something around that area. Can get a 1.75L of Svedka for $21

Your tolerance has increased. A lot. It will keep going up until your mid-30s or 40s, then it will rear it's ugly head. . . and you'll keep drinking.

Cracker needs to pay attention to the BackLot a bit more closely.
