Why did the duck cross the playground? To get to the other slide.

351 Cleveland with Shelby hogged out cylinders and pistons, a radical cam, high rise manifold, giant Holley carb, headers, Mallory dual point ignition, Hurst quick shifter, heavy duty clutch, tricked out suspension. It moved out. The California CHP had Oldsmobile 442 Freeway Flyers. I walked away from one at 160+on the I10. (A story for another time) Not as fast as as Big Red, my Vette, though. Ask Unkie Trunkie.

Frankly, while the Vette is quick, whatever van Raptor and AM used to get to their honeymoon in San Francisco was probably had the pace to win Cannonball.

That was my 69 Mustang with my Honda 350 SL strapped to the back. 6 wheels and a lot of hp to and over the rear wheels. (I can't believe we were the last ones out of our post wedding party in Woodland Hills at 1 AM, then drove all night and morning to San Francisco!)
