I was sad to see that its no longer serving
butt my friend that lives down there told me that they are nOt gonna tear it down butt move it to some museum

so glad I did stop n took a few photos for ya

 

Too sad, mom. I hate when that happens. We had a favorite BBQ/Mexican place in Big Bear, Senor Hogs. Babyback ribs to die for. A really nice owner who would always stop and chat with us. Last week: gone!

Fortunately we replaced it with dog-frienfly Kujo's, which you read about in my Big Bear thread.

 

yeah that is sad when some place/thing you like is all of a sudden gone or closed

I dint realize the history behind the TeaPot .... my friend that lives down in the Tri-Cities where I lived said it was like one of the 1st Gas Stations in WA and the road its on used 2 be the MAIN road till they built the new HWY

after I learned that and went back on my way home to snag a few more photos I really took my time n looked at all the old shtuff like the road sign

the desert is purdy baron butt I enjoy ing thru it


they grow alot of grapes down der in the & there are tons of Wineries

butt they also grow HOPS

the way they grow cracks me up

 

I'm putting in a vaopr extraction system to remediate perchloroethylene (dry cleaning solvent) at a dry cleaner on Vine near Sunset in Hollywood today, so I'm having lunch at Pink's (10" stretch chili dog).
