Shipleys and Krispy Kreme FTW!
I remember when the first Krispy Kreme was scheduled to open in Canada. People lined up for HOURS before the store opened. I remember there was a flurry of people who got the donuts as a fundraising tool, but the excitement died off pretty quickly.

I rarely go to Timmy's. Once in awhile for a sandwich...and hot chocolate when the Roll Up the Rim to Win thing is on.

Bottom line, Wendy's IPO'd Tims to raise capital. Got about a billion bucks on first sale. They kept a bunch of stock but eventually sold it. They may still hold a fraction but are minor investors if at all.

KrispyKreme...
Don't be jealous of our in house mass produced delights! They're only good for the first 2 minutes out of the fryer!
