Lots of people from the Greater NYC area retire to Naples FL

 

My Great Uncle and Aunt lived there half the time (the other half on Cape Cod).

 

Funny how old people like / need and warm weather

Here we live about 25 mins from Palm Springs area Palm Dessert & Rancho Mirage etc... we run down there when its cold or y here and its USUALLY at least 10 to sometimes 20 degrees higher.
Down there we see TONS of WA & Canuck Plates and sometimes some back east ones even.
They all escape the cold weather. The Grocery Store even has a magazine called Canada South
