Don't get me started with Kenny G. . . as my conducting teacher said; the dude gets paid by the appoggiatura.

What I will say though, is that somebody got us college band nerds a tape (you remember cassettes? Wow.) with Kenny G playing with the UW jazz band when he was 13.

The bitch clearly made a deal with the Devil, and indeed The Great Adversary owns his soul. . . all of it. . .

better than that freak paul simon who not only sold his own soul, but destroyed a far better composer/performer in his wife.

You're quite bitter about that. . . I'm not. I tried to get into her. . . but Paul kept blocking the way.

I dunno. . . I'm still a bit partial to the stuff he did in the '60's. I will say though that Zappa having "Tom and Jerry" open for him was brilliant.

My only complaint about Mr. Simon is that he can't teach; I saw video of him at a songwriting masterclass. . . and. . . ugh. . .

although songwriting masterclasses can be inherently douchy.

Then that is not a sensitive enough differentiator. It pains me to even think about him.

Since when has this forum been about sensitive differentiators?
