Thumbs down Attn: Billy!

This nav map should give you an idea on why our inlet is a little hairy! Notice the double set of breakers and the very shallow water before you hit the marker and the channel! The breakers and the sand bar push the water something fierce! I think I will let the captain keep navigating this for a while till I gain some confidence!

Where is his slip? And what's the draft on his boat?

That honestly doesn't look that bad.

His slip would be way to the left (northwest) on the map behind Longport the next town up is Margate. The island goes Atlantic City, Ventnor, Margate, Longport.

I'm guessing his boat drafts about 30" with motor in place.

Of course the map doesn't account for low tides/current and wind.

Low tides might be a problem.

A lot of the places I used to park ran 20-24" deep. Not a lot of room for error. Which is why we always had (and often used) spare props.

Looking at the Google Map, I'm less impressed. I thought the inlet was much smaller. It appears to be a good 1/4 mile wide? Meaning you have probably 300' of deep water to work with.
