My family had a Winnebago when I was growing up and we really had some fun trips.

 

Yeah been camping forever and still love to started out of the MGB with a lil Pup tent people would walk by & ask " You got all that in that lil car? "

Had a Tent Trailer when my 's were lil they liked going & still do now

The having your OWN bathroom factor becomes nice with age
I like the trailer and the very nice mattress we swapped into it butt hauling it in wind is not fun. The idea of the going easier and parking it easier is the appeal so we'll see. Those High End things are inside but guess the Rock 's & Race Car ers don't mind paying for them

 

We originally were tent campers for a long time and as us kids got older my father upgraded to a larger two room tent but then we went camping with someone that had a Winnebago and once my mom saw that there was no more tent camping for her. We drove to the Winnebago factory in Forest City Iowa and picked our Winnebago up directly from the factory. At the time my father worked for Dow Chemical and Winnebago used Styrofoam in the construction of their motorhomes so I'm fairly sure he got some kind of a discount from them.
