Yesterday was a really, really bad day!
Yesterday Anne Marie thought she was having a heart attack. The paramedics came at 2:15 PM and took her to USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Emergency. . It was a false alarm and now she's home and resting comfortably. Our new worry is the fire. It started about a mile from our house and burned away in two directions. The wind must have shifted, because it's at the crest of the Verdugos right in back of us. I can see the flames. Nonstop air tanker activity. I'm going to the USC game, but I'm prepared to come home if the flames get close. I told Anne Marie to get the Corvette out of the garage and make sure the dogs are safe and secure if the flames get close.

RB you sure she should be left alone???
Saw the fire last night on the news but their map made it appear farther from your Lowell I know they move fast so please stay on it

to my girl
PS those tankers are awesome had them over my house a lot lately
SO glad to hear Anne Marie is okay. Those fires are scary. BC is just getting pummeled. So surreal. A friend of mine was in the Kootenays this weekend and took a photo of a very smoky mountain range...12 hours later it was engulfed in flames.

SO MANY this year
