I was there for a few months back in '90 for Aircrew and Rescue Swimmer School. Man, I didn't want to leave! Is it still a great town? I can't help but think it's gone down hill somewhat since they moved the A schools down there. When I got to Millington (where they used to be) I was like WTF??? this place BLOWS!

 

i have a friend who is a rescue swimmer in Sydney. Pretty crazy stuff.

 

Unfortunately I never did gradgitate from RSS, though I did make it through Aircrew. It was pointless anyway becasue I ended up with ground-pounder orders. I was better off though. Working maintenance instead of flying got me into a pretty damn good career for a tard like me.

 

I wanted to be Aircrew in a bad way back in the day but there wern't many seats for Photographers...

The town has changed some since then but the beaches are still the best to be found...
