I got shunned on a first date once cause I wore a the wrong hat

I went thru a phase where i went on a minimum of 5 first dates a week. This went on for 3 months...I finally gained weight from all the dinners and called it a day

 

That's a lot of dating indeed.

 

I don't think I've had 5 first dates in a month.

 

From my sample of 1... the first date went great, the 2nd was ok, the 3rd was when she told me she had a 6 year old daughter and a 6 month rule...

 

I would never sweat the clothes thing though because . . ...

I've had girls say "you dress to preppy and neat, what's with all the A&F and J-Crew??"

and others say

"you should have worn something nicer, not jeans and K-Swiss"

Tastes in clothes are diverse, just like women themselves.

The thing is that is all BS if it overshadows the person you are. Why would she care what you wear if you are fun, funny, and sweet?? I think it is usually because the girl is shallow. Just my opinion though.

 

I just like guys who dress nice.....they can have their own style, but be presentable

 

Rather than first dates though, it is so much better if she is a friend of one of your friends. That way you can hang out with her in a group and see if you click. If so . .. . . .it could be a fun night!!! If not, the whole night isn't wasted because you are still with a bunch of your friends.

 

I like the whole getting to know a girl part when things go good. Then one day its like.. hey we like each other.. kick ass... That makes things so much more comfortable than the usual.. hey we just met lets go out and have an awkward time because neither one of us knows anythign about the other so its conversation all night that sometimes may or may not be fun with getting to know them.

A. Get more scary the more you find out or
B. Get better as the night progresses
