Arrow Blue Tooth vs Wired Headset

I am in need of being able to STILL use my phone from time to time in the car

I had purchased a Blue Tooth when I got the last phone. NEVER opened the package till yeah July 4th

Testing it out in the yard it worked fairly well.
In the Car it did nOt
Even when the top was up and yeah no volume what so ever on my stereo.

I decided to try a lil better quality one to see if that made any difference?
Saw a local using the JAWBONE butt he said even that one wasn't perfect

I'm not pleased with the awkwardness of it.

Wondering if maybe a wired headset might be to my advantage?
ONLY need it as I said occasionaly while in the car

Will appreciate any input whatsoeva.... sep 4 wisecrackers of course

I have (had?) a wired one and it works OK, but not nearly as well as just talking into the phone. Ironically I have to hold the mic up to my mouth for it to be clear, so it's no better than just holding the phone. But that's dangerous.

Never tried any bluetooth headsets so can't really compare.

Unfortunately our car is outside of the design parameters for headsets...

Convertables suc for any phone conversational stuff.

The biggest problem I have with BT, is I never remember to keep the battery charged. This is not a problem with a wired headset.

So my reccomendation would be to get a wired headset and leave it in the car.

I use several dual-mike blue tooths and EVERYONE complains when I use them in the S. Go for wired so you don't have to remember to charge it and save it for occasional calls.

I would suggest that if you wish to speak on the phone you pull your car to the side of the road and then have the conversation.

It is a proven fact that women are not good drivers, and when you add to that a woman trying to have a conversation about the colour of the shoes she wants to wear that night or something similar, you have a deadly combination!!!

lol

I actually love the Jawbone. I've been able to talk to people on the phone with the top down without a problem. I also like to listen to music while driving and talking on the phone, because we all know that being able to multitask effectively is a great thing to do when you've got your foot on the gas pedal.
