130 acres is only a 1/2 mile square. I wouldn't even shoot a 30-30 (or any powerful rifle) without a major obstruction behind the targets.

I didn't think the howitzers was serious... but my point was that even a medium power rifle could easily shoot outside of the property. Most counties in Wisconsin south of Green Bay have shotgun-only laws for that reason. An errant shot can go like 4 to 5 miles.

[soapbox]Firing handguns or rifles is not something to be taken lightly. I have a neighbor somewhere that does this illegally, and I've been after the cops to get this guy. It's WRONG, especially 'cause I have kids roaming around in the woods. If I catch this guy, it won't be pretty.

But, yeah, I love guns. Just don't expect me to have any in my house or condone anyone using them within earshot of my house.
