Here's a funny approach to the problem, which is what first occurred to me when I heard the riddle.

Ask one of the twins to say "I am a liar." If the liar says this sentence, he creates a paradox and his head will explode! The problem is, the other twin can't say this sentence either!!

Anyway, I give you this story because it is of no help to you and it shows you how truly warped your friendly neighborhood Chazmo is! Go on, ask....
